acapulco was awesome. seriously. just look at this:

it’s the view of the bay from our balcony, and it was even more breathtaking in person. i think it’s safe to say that acapulco was the best vacation i’ve ever had in my life - sunny and high 80’s weather, beaches all over, water sports, catching marlins, swimming with dolphins, eating tacos, crazy night life, good times with 11 other amigos and amigas.. what more could one ask for?? this is one story that i’d rather tell with pictures.. and hopefully i will get around to doing that soon.

the one bad thing about our trip was the plane ride home. ugh that was not cool. our flight was supposed to depart at 9 pm and arrive in detroit at 2 am. we waited on the runway in acapulco for 2 hours while we listened to the seemingly incompetant flight crew update us on the status of our ghetto airplane. apparently they over fueled it, so it was too heavy to take everyone, so they had to either remove fuel or remove people. they finally decided to let all 220 disgruntled college students off, fly around for 45 minutes to burn fuel, and then land and pick up everyone again. we ended up landing in detroit around 7 am, 5 hours after we were supposed to. buncha monkeys running that plane.

but still.. acapulco ruled.
