i’m in michigan where it’s been snowing for almost 24 hours and there is ice all over. my girlfriend is in acapulco where it’s tropical paradise and there are beaches and tacos all over. this isnt right.

speaking of mexico, recently i tried out big ten burrito, the new burrito joint on campus. it’s not bad. very fresh taste, spearheaded by its guacamole. tortillas dont compare to panchero’s, of course. but hey, big ten burrito is much closer to my apt than panchero’s. ok so thats how i felt after the first time i ate there. tonight for dinner i decided to return to btb, and this experience was much different. i ordered a chicken burrito.. and i got no chicken. i got no steak. i got no other meat. that’s right.. there was no meat in my burrito!!!! what the heck?!? that just reminded me of how much better of an establishment panchero’s is. sigh. i almost swore that i would never go to btb again.. but i think i’m going to give them another chance to redeem themselves to me (by possibly compensating me 1 burrito), otherwise i am taking my business elsewhere.

and now to something that doesnt relate to mexico.. i got the new shane and shane cd today, entitled “upstairs”. i like them.
