today i got four desirable items in the mail! i dont think i’ve ever gotten that many things in one day before, not even on my birthday. ok, the first item was my paycheck, which is a few weeks overdue. but it’s all good, because it redeems 3 weeks of work. next item is Taylor Guitars’ 2004 catalog, filled with tons of high resolution pictures of their drool-enducing guitars. oh man.. kinda makes me buy a new guitar (maybe the $11K PS14ce?? i wish). alright, now it gets good. the next item is the new Caedmons Call cd, Chronicles, which is a compilation of hits over their 12 year lifetime including live and studio recordings, and enhanced cd features. i’m listening to it now and singing along. i love getting new cds and i love Caedmons Call. the last mail item was sent to my whole house, but nevertheless, it is still the most thoughtful and meaningful. ladies and gentlemen, the last mail item is a huge carepackage from miss joro aka jo-momma. i havent finished exploring it yet (seriously, it’s really big) but so far i saw lots of home baked goods and candy all over the place. thanks so much jo!
last weekend my boy eugene came to visit me and we had a great time. he’s visited ann arbor before, so throughout the weekend he was trying to impress me with his familiarity with the campus, which i must say, was impressive. we hit up all the classic ann arbor food places - pancheros, red robin, grizzly peak - and he got to hang out with most of my cool michigan friends. thanks for coming eugene!
this week was pretty fun-filled. on monday i went to a shooting range with some friends and i shot an M16!! it was friggin awesome! just like in the video games! lemmie tell ya, if we ever go into combat together, i’m your man. the weather’s been nice, so on a few days i played outside. i played ultimate, handball, stickball, and tennis (indoor). last night i slept over tony’s with the other brothers of propel. we did all kinds of manly things - we ate pizza and watched 2 Fast 2 Furious, baked ….steaks… not cupcakes.. uh..
no complaints about ann arbor in this entry, folks.

mmmm, red robin and pancheros…two things i’m looking forward to this weekend.
Thanks for hosting me. I had such a great time.
