i’m in europe! sailing along the coast of italy, en route to greece. we’ve been sailing around for 4 days now, and it has been awesome. some highlights of our trip include the tiny affluent and beautiful country of monaco, the leaning tower of pisa, sistine chapel, nice the nicest place in frace, listening to our mandarin speaking italian tourguide vito corleone, stuffing ourselves silly on the ship, spending hours in the hot tub, and making fun of mike “michelle” sun. ah, this is one trip i wont soon forget!

on the first day mike and i purchased unlimited internet use for the trip, and set up an ad hoc network to split the connection to both of our thinkpads. ah, the joy of technology.

for the past three days we’ve been on 10+ hour excursions, and yesterday i thought my legs were going to give away, leaving me helplessly exhausted on the ground. but luckily, i kept eating gelati and that gave me just enough energy to continue. mmm gelati. so far i think i’ve taken about 500 pictures. crazy!

i’ve also started reading the davinchi code. “what?!?” yes, i started reading a book! and i’m at page like 240 or something. that book is so good! i never thought reading a book could be so enjoyable and entertaining! why didnt somebody tell me?? just kidding, i know plenty of people who have tried to get me to read, and i even tried it out a few times.. but it just wasnt for me. until the davinchi code. great book.

onto greece! ciao!

Ha, sounds like an awesome time. And you guys are pretty darn cool with your Internet/Thinkpad solution.

By the way, it’s the Da Vinci Code. :-D
