you know u’ve been spending too much time at ikea when you can walk in through the exit directly to the warehouse area, find the two items you went there for without looking at a map or asking anyone, and check out within 10 mins. after today’s quick trip i can finally say that i have acquired all of the furniture that i need for my apt. no more ikea! actually, i cant say that i’m sick of it or anything.. it’s a great place, filled with fun things to touch, sit on, play with… i guess that shows how much of a social life i have. haha. i shouldnt say that.. this weekend was great. i had a chance to attend lexus’s taste of luxury yesterday with james (a fellow sapient new hire), where we drove lots of nice cars (e.g. mercedes e500, lex is300, bmw 330i, range rover, volvo xc90) as crazily as we wanted to through cone courses at fed ex field and ate gourmet food.. and it was free! also got a workout playing basketball yesterday night and assembling my bedframe today (i really could have used the electric drill that i returned to my dad a few days ago). this morning i finally got to experience agape mission church with will. after 4 years of hearing him rave about it, i finally got to see what the hype was all about for myself. good stuff, very high tech, lots of Holy Spirit action.
in other news, work has been great. consulting is exciting.. more about that in a later entry.. my apt is finally set up and sort of organized, i have furniture and food and beer and internet and digital cable - the bare essentials for sustaining life. let me know if you want to visit!

hahah “lots of Holy Spirit action.” good stuff, man. post some pictures of your apartment! and what’s Lexus’s Taste of Luxury? Is it a promotion for them or just a day to drive expensive cars? anyway, i can’t believe you’re all grown up and living on your own…for good. wow.
