you know what doesnt make sense? when the cashier ppl at baja fresh ask for your name when they take your order. that process works at places like starbucks, where all of the employees grew up speaking english, but that is not the case at baja. these are some of the baja translations i have witnessed:
phil: phill, fil, bill
brad: bred
aaron: eron
michael: micheal
maybe the name misspellings were planned by the baja management. “let’s have our foreign cashiers try to spell all of our customers’ names.. haha. that will give them something to laugh about while they wait for their fresh food to be made at non-microwave speed.”
your website is the only non-news, non-shopping website that i’m able to see while at work. i am sitting in (very boring) excel training right now (but excel is very cool). please write more frequently on your website so that i may be entertained in occasions like this. actually, i think today may be my last day of internet-access…unless i decide to pay $9/day for it at my kick-arse hotel. (which kicks ass in every way minus the non-free internet fee). anyway, hi phil…tell COT i said hi
